01/01/24 Mon.  HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

03/01/24 Weds. Three days into the year and not much happening!  At least we are having a few sunny spells at the moment.  The 'wet' season will continue until February or March, so the boats currently in Penuwasa shipyard will be having a hard time painting their hull bottoms.

09/01/24 Tues. I am still struggling with the cold I caught from Richard which has left me with bronchitis - guess it will go by itself in a week or so?  Mark and Kim (Zizi) and Lionel and Julie (Two Dragons) turned up today and will stay a couple of days before heading around the top and down to Indonesia.

11/01/24 Thurs.  Zizi left this morning at 0630.  Ana is busy making a 'stac-pac' sail cover for Garry on Inca II.

25/01/24 Thurs. Not a lot happening in Kudat, Ana is still making the sail cover for Garry because he changed his mind on the design when it was almost complete! We are flying to Manila on the 31st for a week to restart our visas.

31/01/24 Weds. Drove down to KK and left the car in the airport car park, checked in for our flight and had a little trouble with immigration - the officer was somewhat rude and insulting to me but I ignored most of it.  Arrived in Manila around 10pm and went straight to our hotel.
