01/02/24 Thurs. Manila hasn't changed much, it's still a manic city clogged with traffic!

04/02/24 Sun. We've wandered around Robinson's Mall a couple of times, Ana has been to see her children and make some bank account adjustments.

06/02/24 Tues. Ella has been to our hotel a couple of times and Wency too, Ana has been busy posting off dresses made for customers and getting rid of the excess baggage that we brought from KK.  Most of our stuff is already packed in readiness for our return flight tomorrow.

07/02/24 Weds. Taxi to the airport just after lunch and checked in. Flight delayed 1 hour as is normal for Air Asia, so we were not boarded until 1715.  No sooner had we stored our luggage and belted in when we were told to disembark again and return to the boarding gate.  Another hours wait!  Finally boarded again and taxied out to the runway, then the skipper tells us we are fourth in line for take off and we would have to wait here for 30 mins or so.  Landed in KK at around 9pm, both of us were pulled aside by immigration and questioned - it's certainly getting more difficult to get in and out of Malaysia!  Grabbed the car and paid the parking, drove to Damai and got a late meal before setting off for Kudat.  We arrived back in Kudat at almost 2am.

08/02/24 Thurs. Up again at 6am checking all well with the boat and catching up with neighbours.

15/02/24 Thurs. An early start this morning - left Kudat at 0500 and drove down to KK to pick up Richard who was returning from Bali.  Went into Inanam and picked up some SS screws and sunbrella fabric before going to Cititel Express for Richard.  On to City Gourmet to get some supplies of bacon and sausages and then back to Kudat.

16/02/24 Fri.  Picked up a cold from Richard again!  He must have got it on the plane as he is down with it as well today.

29/02/24 Thurs.  An extra day for us.  I hope you all remembered to put your clocks forward 24 hours!
